We need a wide range of skills and talents. Please take a moment to consider what areas you are interested in assisting with (see the descriptions below the form). We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to join our various planning committees who are working hard to make this vegan festival a success.

Volunteer Description

Setup/Takedown Crew – Assisting with setup/tearing down, also with cleanup at the end of the night

Postering/Promotions – Coordinates team to go door-to-door two months before the event to notify neighbourhood of event, posters event around town and spread the word

Children Events – Coordinates children activities

General Support – Assisting festival attendees and other general duties

Information Table Attendants – Answering attendee questions, selling raffle/event merchandise

Recycling Team – Ensuring the festival is as environmentally friendly as possible & looking after maintaining recycling and composting

Sound and Technical Support – Helping with sound system, etc

Photography/Video – Taking pictures throughout the festival of attendees/participants

Hospitality (Green Room) – General hospitality for our performers, making sure food and water available, greeting them when they arrive, assisting with parking, carrying things in, doing whatever is necessary to ensure they are happy and looked after

Speakers Liaison – Ensures speakers have arrived, shows speakers where they need to be, doing whatever is necessary to ensure they are happy and looked after

Performer Liaison – Ensures entertainment have arrived and are in place where they need to be

Charities and Vendor Tables – Ensures they have everything they need to have a successful event and will even look after their booths while they have a quick break.
